We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Biller. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of medical billing procedures.

Responsibilities

·         Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies

·         Verify patients' insurance eligibility and coverage

·         Review and update patients' medical records as necessary

·         Follow up on unpaid claims and denials

·         Resolve billing issues and discrepancies

·         Maintain confidentiality of patients' medical information

·         Stay up-to-date on medical billing and coding regulations and guidelines

Requirements

·         High school diploma or GED equivalent

·         Certification in Medical Billing and Coding

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing

·         Proficiency in medical billing software

·         Strong knowledge of medical billing codes and terminology

·         Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

·         Effective communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Strong organizational and time management skills

·         Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement procedures
