We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in the accounting industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company’s financial records. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of accounting principles will be crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

·         Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and monthly reports

·         Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes

·         Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

·         Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies

·         Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses

·         Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards

·         Handle bank reconciliations and cash management

·         Prepare and submit tax documents and support tax-related activities

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

·         Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred

·         Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role

·         Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures

·         Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

·         Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Knowledge of tax regulations and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

·         Experience with ERP systems is a plus
