We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. You will be the first point of contact for any software, hardware, or network-related issues, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other IT support teams to ensure efficient and effective issue resolution
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security measures
- Train employees on the proper use of hardware and software
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools
- Familiarity with Active Directory and other user management systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
