Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities
Coordinator to join our team. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be
responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our
facilities to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. This is a crucial role
in our organization as you will be responsible for ensuring the safety,
functionality, and overall cleanliness of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee
the maintenance and repair of the building, including HVAC systems,
plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ensure
the cleanliness and appearance of the facilities are maintained, including
coordinating with janitorial staff
- Manage
and schedule preventative maintenance tasks to avoid potential issues or
disruptions
- Coordinate
with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and other
facility-related projects
- Monitor
and manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring sufficient stock
levels and reordering as needed
- Respond
to and resolve facilities-related issues and emergencies in a timely and
efficient manner
- Develop
and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of
employees and visitors
- Assist
in the planning and execution of office moves, renovations, and
reconfigurations
- Collaborate
with other departments to address facility needs and provide support as
required
- Manage
facility-related budgets and expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor's
degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related
field
- Proven
experience working in facilities management or a similar role
- Knowledge
of building systems, maintenance, and repairs
- Strong
organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency
in using facility management software and other computer applications
- Knowledge
of safety regulations and protocols
- Ability
to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention
to detail and strong problem-solving skills
