Description
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team. You will provide technical support and troubleshooting for our employees, ensuring optimal computer system performance and productivity. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and assisting in the implementation of IT projects. Your strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation will be crucial in ensuring excellent end-user experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and provide prompt and accurate solutions
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as required
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Ability to work independently and provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred
