Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of high-quality dishes according to customer requests and dietary restrictions
- Follow set recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure consistent food quality and attractive plate presentation
- Assist with menu planning, suggesting new dishes and ingredients to enhance our offerings
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and appliances
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness
- Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring all items meet our quality standards
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to maintain a positive and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a hospitality setting, with a solid understanding of cooking techniques and best practices
- Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification or degree is a plus
