We are seeking an experienced Acceptance Engineer to join our team. As an Acceptance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and performance before they are released to our clients. Your attention to detail and expertise in test methodologies will contribute to the overall success of our software development process.

In this role, you will work closely with our development and testing teams to develop comprehensive test plans and execute them in order to validate the functionality and usability of our products. You will also be responsible for identifying and documenting defects, and working with the development team to resolve them.

The ideal candidate for this position is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of software development lifecycle. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories

Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement

Collaborate with development team to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

Participate in release planning and provide input on test efforts and schedules

Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects have been resolved and new functionality has been implemented correctly

Document and communicate test results and defect status to stakeholders

Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential defects and areas for improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience as a software tester or acceptance engineer

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies

Knowledge of test management tools, such as JIRA or TestRail

Familiarity with automated testing tools, such as Selenium or Cucumber

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
