We are seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team in the accounting industry. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in securing mortgage loans and providing them with detailed information about eligibility, interest rates, and terms. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

·         Evaluate and recommend mortgage loan products based on client needs and financial situations

·         Gather necessary documentation from clients and guide them through the application process

·         Liaise with underwriters, appraisers, title companies, and other involved parties to ensure smooth loan processing

·         Complete loan applications and submit to underwriting for approval

·         Communicate with borrowers throughout the loan process, providing updates on loan status and addressing any concerns or questions

·         Analyze credit reports, income, and assets to determine loan feasibility and eligibility

·         Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards

Requirements

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or in a related role

·         In-depth understanding of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations

·         Strong sales and negotiation skills to effectively promote loan products and services

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships

·         Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities

·         Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

·         High level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues
